Why have i decided to start writing a blog?
People keep telling me that I bottle up my emotions and feelings, so I’m hoping that writing these blogs could be a way of revealing exactly how I feel. So let’s see if this works.

Well I recently turned nineteen, recently started university, and recently moved miles away from home. Besides from missing my family and friends, I love the lifestyle; late nights, no rules, independence and living with three of my new closest friends. My sleeping pattern is now wrecked, I end up going to sleep at 6am and waking up without seeing any sunlight, but it comes with the experience and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
Living in my hometown in Essex to moving to Bolton is a massive change. From being situated with typical Essex boys and girls, and then moving to Bolton which looks like a holding area for Jeremy Kyle…Isn't one of the best perks about coming to uni here.. But you have to laugh, mainly at the people.
I'm studying special effects development and am in uni 12 hours a week, it isn’t a lot but it’s enough. The computer side of the course is killer and I will never like the word 'Maya', but the physical stuff is growing on me. I haven’t done any art work for over two years so getting back into it is slowly coming along. I’m hoping to go into make-up and prosthetics when i leave the course but am starting to wonder if i actually am enjoying it…
There have been a few rough times since being up here but I’m fighting through. Finding out your best friend has cancer over Christmas doesn’t exactly make you want to rush back to uni. I have come across so many amazing people here already and it’s true what they say… friends at uni are friends for life.
